I really enjoyed my stay in Amaya. My room was great with a high ceiling, big and comfortable bed, bright and tasty decoration. The stuff were very friendly I felt welcome and safe in there. Located in Thong Sala, Angkana Bungalows adults only features comfortable bungalows with sea views. The property has a tour desk, which organises excursion to tourist attractions. Very simple place, not fancy. BUT, it’s very clean, comfortable, GREAT food, staff is amazing, and the owners are very welcoming! I dropped my dirt clothes to do laundry, but they didn’t get dried on time, Flo (one of the owner) managed to send it to a laundry nearby just to dry them and make sure I would have them dry before my checkout. The beach is really calm and I recommend you to take the kayak and go until the island nearby, there’s a sandbank in that island that was an amazing place for me to watch a great sunset!

We’ve stayed a couple of times in Koh Phagnan and this place is absolutely our favorite. It’s a new (small) resort, in a very good location. The French owners are absolutely delightful and the included breakfast is delicious. The bungalows are cosy and a touch of European design which is great (they have soft lights for example, which is rare in Thailand :)). The bed is big and the mattress is perfect. I had a great time at Moon Travel Phangan. Jon the owner was super friendly and helpful the entire time..he gave advice on what to go see on Koh Phangan, recommended bars and a place to rent a scooter. He let me switch to a nicer room right on arrival He gave me a great deal when I extended my stay and even drove me to the taxi station when I left. The room itself was clean and comfortable, with a little balcony to hang out in the evening. I slept really well (my room was towards the road, so people motorbikes could be heard quite well, but with earplugs this was no problem). The room had a fridge and a shower with hot water. When I come back to Koh Phangan, I will stay here again for sure!
